Coffee roasters in Knysna

île de païn began here in 2002 as a small café serving coffee, croissants and sandwiches.

Coffeetown roasts its own coffee and serves it with views of the Knysna Heads.

In 2013 co-founder Markus Färbinger said the café had made the double shot standard and was serving stronger drinks such as the cortado.
